Megan Best is the friendly first voice many people hear when they contact Horizon Payroll. As our Receptionist, she keeps the front office organized, answers calls, supports the team with day-to-day coordination, and helps ensure client requests get routed quickly and accurately.
Originally from Minnesota and now living in Miamisburg, Megan brings a people-first approach to every interaction. She studied Massage Therapy at Southwest College and has experience across retail management, banking, and childcare.
Megan has been with Horizon since 2025 and enjoys that her work helps the team focus on serving our clients. Outside of work, Megan’s favorite thing is spending time with her family, and she cheers for the Springboro Panthers. One thing most people don’t know about her: she once opened an in-home childcare business so she could stay home with her daughter while still building something meaningful professionally.
